All in all the episode was OK, but Chandler and Monica's storyline was amazing. Chandler was easily the best character in the entire episode, and his speech in the end was very moving. Unfortunately, Ross was stuck in another storyline which made him look like a dork, while Joey's story was based on only one joke. Indeed, Chandler did this joke better back in 304 TOW the Metaphorical Tunnel when Janice took his tomatoes.

Monica and Chandler's "tearjerking" adoption storyline, where they go from being applying to an agency to meeting the woman to have their baby quicker than you can say "slow swimmers" is their final moment in the spotlight but from a story arc standpoint it really shouldn't be in a sitcom because it doesn't seem to be an appropriate platform for such a storyline and the comedy feels horribly forced. Phoebe and Mike could be a hell of a lot better if the writing staff actually bothered but Mike's proposal was treated with as much as respect as Ross' filler stories when DS is directing. And fuck knows what's going on with Ross, Rachel and Joey. It's like time froze in 10-03 for them, there has been absolutely zero development in any direction here, except for them beating us over the head with Ross, Rachel and Emma episodes which were even less subtle than the episodes that set up the Joey and Rachel thing last year --> "see, they have a baby together" ....
I really shouldn't be watching this show anymore, to be honest I should have stopped a long time ago but since I made it this far I'm gonna suffer through it until it's over and then proceed to telling everyone I know that the show really ended when they left London.

I know its a TV show and not real but I seriously hated this episode. The Monica - Chandler storyline was a joke and so predictable I wanted to turn it off. If Ross was never on I would be fine with that. Joey was about the only thing I could tolerate on this episode. The good episodes are really getting fewer and far between
