Jennifer Aniston's voice

I was just watching a rerun from the first season, and has anybody noticed that Jennifer Aniston's voice is completely different now? It seems a lot deeper and harsher.

Yeah. She used to sound really whiney... I hated that. Now she sounds much better.

Yes I thought her deeper voice was acting. Like, when she was a spoiled little rich girl, her voice was whiny. Now that she is a "big executive" she has a more mature, in-control kind of voice. I prefer her later voice, because like mahe said, she sounded really whiny in the beginning.

I don't think it has to do with smoking, like someone said. She doesn't have a smoker's voice

at first i thought you were referring to her singing voice (at Barry's wedding to Mindy).

She smokes and I think that is part of the ....damage..over time.

someone asked if it was cuz of brad. No. she smoked before they started dating, i believe. And also, i actually have noticed the opposite. Her voice seems to be a little higher i think. Especially in the scenes wehre she's had to play sad/upset and on oprah, her voice gets very high. And in general, i've noticed her voice being slighly higher.
