I finally got to see 707 - TOW Ross' Library book

I actually can't see why so many people are moaning about it. I think, it was very well balanced and funny. Granted, it wasn't as good as 703, but still a very good one.

Everyone kept complaining about C&M storylines, which took up too room. But, uhm, I disagree. Especially in this one. I mean, the wedding definetely has to be mentioned, but overall, this whole plot did NOT outweigh Joey's or Ross' plot. In fact, I think all three plots got pretty much the same attention.

Plus, I think, all six actors looked great. Matthew Perry looked so much healthier than in the Season Premiere (although, I liked him in the premier better than in last season's finale, where he really has gotten pretty big-boned). I also liked Jennifer Aniston's new hair-cut. But this is really a matter of taste. You really can't say, the 'old' hair-do was a cut, she just let her hair grow. They were just long and looked pretty unhealthy towards the tips. The curly version helped a little bit, but this looks so much better, imho. I say it again... matter of taste.

Ross was nearly going 'Angry-Ross' again. But the absolutely gorgeos student he made out with, has really let me forget about it. By the way, did she remind anyone-else of Cameron Diaz, too...?

I also liked the fact, that Joey's character got so much more depth in this episode. Of course, he'll still be a womanizer, but I hope, the writers will leave him wanting a serious relationship. At least for just a little bit. That guy's over thirty, hehe.

So, my conclusion: It's gonna be alright. Like Tennant said, everyone's going to moan about Season 8 and insist on how good Season 7 was anyway (well, he did not say that exactly, but this is pretty much the bottom line).

Agreed! Though I think Janice was sorta wasted, the other two storylines were solid. Some people think Ross' actions were dumb, but what would you do if people were doing that near something that was your pride and joy. I bet you wouldn't take it lightly!!! Though it wasn't as good as 703 or 706, it was still a solid average episode. 7/10

01 TOW All The Happiness
   Now that Chandler and Monica finally get married, our friends show their
   party animal instincts in Paris.
02 TOW The Dutch Cop
   Joey and Phoebe accidentally end up in Holland, but Phoebe tries to get
   them back to Paris for free. The Dutch Police doesn't quite agree with
   her though.
03 TOW The Mixups
   Back in the US, Rachels gets in trouble with her employer, but our Friends
   come to the rescue by pretending to be employees in Ralph Lauren's empire.
04 TOW Ross Doesn't Scream
   Ross does well amongst the women in Central Perk, and Rachel encourages him
   to date them. Ross finds out one of these women is actually a travestite,
   who cheated on him as well during their short relation. Rachel thinks it's
   okay because Ross was on a break. Ross stays very calm.
05 TOW Joey Can't Get It
   No matter how hard Joey tries, the girls just won't fall for his "How you
   doing'?" line. Chandler has more success with the ladies, but Monica is
   not at all pleased.
06 TOW Phoebe's Contract
   Phoebe is heard by a manager from a major record label, and is instantly
   offered a contract. Ross finds, dates and loses a 16-year old student.
07 TOW Rachel Can't Shop
   Now that Rachel has witnessed the tough life of children that live in
   poverty, she decides that she won't ever shop again. She even cuts up
   all her credit cards, without so much as a blink of the eye. She voluntarily
   signs up to do sea missions with Greenpeace.
08 TOW Monica Loses.
   It's a very white christmas in New York. Our friends have to stay inside
   because of a snow blizzard, and decide to spend their time playing board
   games. Monica loses 3 times in a row playing Risk, and congratulates Ross
   on his victories.
09 TOW Joey's New Roommate
   Rachel and Phoebe have moved back in their restored appartment, and Joey
   gets a new roommate. She's studying theology and dresses really bad,
   causing Joey to fall secretly in love with her.
10 TOW All The Books
   Joey really gets along with Celebataire, his new roommate. Whenever Joey
   finds time to get away from studying Shakespear's books, he hangs out with
   her in the library. Our friends are really fond of Joey's girlfriend.
11 TOW The Guest Star Has To Move
   Celebataire suddenly turns out to be a sleazy understudied sleep-around
   who finds joy in bugging Joey's friends and leaves for good. Ross offers
   a nigth in the stripclub with the guys to Joey, but Joey refuses.
12 TOW Phoebe Gets Famous
   Phoebe's debut album sells really well. She buys fur coats for her friends
   and helps out Joey by buying his boat. Her new videoclip 'Smelly Cat -
   The 180bpm remix' is shot on the Mr. Beaumont, where Phoebe falls in love
   with the cameraguy.
13 TOW Ursula Runs
   Ursula has identified herself as Phoebe, and collected all of her checks.
   Phoebe tries to trace her, but her cab breaks down in the heat of the
   moment. Chandler redecorates Monica's apartment and is given a royal
   thank-you in her bedroom.
14 TOW Chandler's New Hot Assistant - Part 1
   Chandler is promoted to sr. WENUS professional and gets a new, bigger office
   with a new, hot assistant. Ross shows her his slides, and ends up in
   her bedroom the next morning.
15 TOW Chandler's New Hot Assistant - Part 2
   Rachel finds out Chandler's new assistant is actually Jill, her sister.
   When she hears she hit off with Ross, she's totally cool with it and
   wishes them good luck in their relationship.
16 TOW All The Flashbacks
   Our friends sit in Monica's apartment where they discuss what's happened
   to them over all the years. Ross enlightens the others by playing his
   keyboard like a real pro.
17 TOW The Sauna
   Janice runs into Chandler at the sauna. Chandler mistakes Monica for
   Janice and lands on the wrong lap. There's touching of things, and Monica
   is really setup.
18 TOW Chandler's Folks
   Chandler's father comes to visit him, and brings his new boyfriend along.
   Phoebe is attracted to the boyfriend, and takes him out to go ice skating.
19 TOW Joey Finds Out
   Joey gets a surprise when his former girlfriend Angela tells him he's a
   father of a 7-year old son. Joey can't cope with this and flees outside.
   He's found the next morning in the metro station with an empty bottle in
   his hands. Phoebe comforts Joey and one thing leads to another.
20 TOW Nobody's Supposed To Know
   Phoebe and Joey get along very well, but they won't let their friends know.
   Joey's son turns out not to be Joey's after all, which Joey celebrates
   by taking his friends on vacation to Hawaii.
21 TOW All The Half-naked Chicks
   The Hawaiian people recognize Joey as Dr. Drake Ramore and jump all over
   him. At first Joey is delighted by his success and parties on. Phoebe
   gets upset and they decide to return home.
22 TOW All The Making Up - Part 1
   Ross writes a 36-page note (front and back) to Rachel, saying he's sorry
   he slept with Chloe while they were still together. Rachel accepts his
   letter and they spend the rest of the night in Ross' apartment.
24 TOW Everything Ends
   Rachels marries Ross, Joey marries Phoebe, Chandler marries Monica.
   Monica and Chandler get into a fight over how many kids they wanna have and
   break up. Phoebe gets words with Ross and secretly kills him. Joey comforts
   Rachel and marries her a few years later. They have 3 kids.
   Joey divorces rachel, gets the kids because Rachel's become an alcoholic
   due to all the divorcing. Phoebe marries Joey. They live long and happy.

Ross is about to propose to Rachel when Chip Matthews, Barry Farber, Paolo, Geoffrey Rosen, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Mark Robinson, Joshua Bergen, Danny Tyler, Paul Stevens and Tag Jones each turn up to beg her to marry them instead. In the end, she proposes to Ross.

Heheheh. It was *so* cool when they had to draw numbers to propose to Rachel. You could clearly see Ross's envy as he only married 3 times :)
