i'm *guessing* that thats the number :) it will air May 10th. was filmed yesterday, March 9th.

Unknown title written by Jaime * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

this was typed after being awake for 36 hours straight, so escuse some of the typos. ;)

Central Perk. teaser. Phoebe and Monica are looking through a bridal magazine. Phoebe comments that they dont have a magazine like that for guys. (i think haha) and Monica says somthing like "sure they do. its called Jugs." (again, i THINK she said jugs.. it sounded like it haha) the second time they did the scene, she added the line "i wish Chandler would get rid of his copy." to which i cracked up. loudly. the only one. LOL. Joey comes in!! they greet him. he stares at them for so long, i begin to think he forgot his lines. then he says, all aloof, "do i know you?" and the girls are obviously confused. Joey explains that hes practising his 'blowing people off', cuz hes gonna be a big star! :D then he goes on to say that he auditioned for this great movie role, and that its just so great cuz its about a catholic italion (well, brothers, really) and a jewish girl who fall in love. and that the director is said to be 'the next NEXT martin score-say-cee" (lmao sound it out, ok?! not gonna look up how to spell it" and the first time, he messed up and uttered a naughty word ;) i cracked up, cuz i'm weird and find theyre cussing funny. lol. then he says that the one bad thing is that it calls for a full frontal nude scene. "my grandmother's gonna be watching this!!" Phoebe-"you're grandmother will have to get in line" Joey smiles his Joey smile, then it fades to a sort of confusion. accck, and i forgot.. Estelle was on!! :D:D she was the one who told him about the nude part. bad memory!! BAD!

C/M's apartment. Monica is folding clothes, and Phoebe marvels that the wedding is so soon. Monica says shes sad, but kinda cant wait for it to be over too, cuz she and Chandler have a "no sex until after the wedding" pact. Ross is all "a 'no sex' pact huh? i have one of those with every women in the world." (not exact sure on the words.. it was probably funnier than how i worded it) Monica tells Ross that their cousin Cassie is coming to stay with her a few days. ok, this is hilarious.. they had to the this scene OVER and over, cuz first Courteney would mess up (she commented 'this is gonna be a long day') and then Lisa would start laughing every time she started her line. sooo, they finally got past that, and started with Monica saying "Our cousin Cassie is coming" or whatever she said haha. but she said it in this sing songy, preschool teacher sorta voice, and started laughing. David was staring at her in amusment for a long time, then did his line the same way "CASSIE, huh??" then continued normally.. he remembered how she always carried a barbie doll around with her. Monica: Ross, shes 24 (25? damn my memory..) years old. Ross begins to say that that doesnt matter (alluding to the fact that HE still has some toy ;) and then quickly says "no, your probably right"

Rachel walks in after Monica goes to change the bed thinsg in the guestroom, and asks Phoebe to come talk with her. Monica gets all cutely excited, saying that she KNOWS theyre talking about her bridal shower. and Rachel's all "well, at least *pretend* to not know!!" Monica happily agrees, and goes into the room. seconds later, Rachel exclaims to Phoebe "oh my god, we have to give her a bridal shower?!"

skipping scenes and continuing with that story first, lol.. Rachel and Phoebe are in Pheebs' apartment. theyre looking at a calendar to plan when to have the shower. hehe, the first time, Jennifer slapped her hand against her side--no biggie--but then muttered this tiny little 'ow!' :) so.. "we have two choices. we could have it this friday, but thats only in 2 days" "whats the other choice?" asks Phoebe. "Yesterday!" lmao they agree on plans. phoebe suggest a theme of "Lusts of the Flesh" LMAO. then says "i dont know.. cowboy theme?" then Rachel starts to freak out, saying they cant do all this in 2 days, and Phoebe tells her calm down. Rachel agrees. Phoebe then shakes Rachel, yelling at her to calm down, lol. Rachel: I did! Phoebe: oh. ok then. well maybe *i* need to calm down then. they changed that.. first it went--rachel freaking, Phoebe calming her, then Phoebe repeating almost the exact same stuff that Rach was freaking over, lol. or wait.. maybe the freaking out comes before the planning. yeah, i think so haha

next shower story scene, Phoebe walks into Rachel's aparentment.. and tells her she has a great idea for gifts to give the guests. whatever those are called. they'd be um.. things. engraved with everyone's name, and inside would have their birth stone. Rachel tells her that can be Phoebe's job, cuz they have 2 days to plan, and NO guest list lol. i love Rachel's outfit here, btw. they did this scene over and over.. Lisa kept messing up the speech. sadly, i missed what she said the first time, but you can be quite certain that it had a word not acceptable to the NBC watchers. i was sad i missed it lol. then she tried again, started laughing. tried AGAIN, got as far as "all the people--f***." guess what? i cracked up. ;) finally she got it, and then i THINK Jennifer messed up, and Lisa said she'd start with the speech, and Jennifer was all "are you sure??" and Lisa was SOOO Phoebe like here, saying "yes, i can. i CAN!

So, Monica walks in. wanting to borrow.. something from the fridge. she looks at turkey, something else, and olive loaf. saying "wont work. wont work. i HOPE it wont work." (or something like that. you get the point, lol.) Rachel asks if shes making Joey a sandwich. Monica pauses, and says "..more like a wrap." the audiance explodes with laughter. dont get it? well thats cuz i'm telling these by story now, not scene filmed lol. you'll get it when reading the Joey story :) and if you dont, then um.. wow. sad for you. LOL Monica leaves, saying she knows theyre talking about a gift to get her, and Rachel goes "oh my god!! we have to get her a GIFT?!"

so.. Shower day!! Phoebe's place, lookin all pretty. lots of guests. Phoebe goes around, making polite convo. she goes to rachel and asks "who the hell are all these people??" lol. Monica's ex-accountant bickers for a moment, then asks when the heck Monica herself will get there. We see that niether Phoebe NOR Rachel actually TOLD her to come. Rachel says it was Phoebe's job, and her own was to get the cake. "now go call Monica! and tell her to bring a cake!" lolol

Monica gets there. goes inside, all prepped for party. no one but P and R are there. they apologize and say they ruined everything, etc. Monica says they didnt, what they did was sweet, and that she was actually kinda glad it ended up that way--with the 2 she cares about most, she gets all the presnts, AND she doesnt have to talk to any people she doesnt even like! Rachel and Phoebe look umcomfy. heres why: all of Monica's guests were hiding. ::snort:: at one re-shot of this scene, Jen started singing like, half a line to an old song, then stopped haha

only problem with seeing scenes more than once: they dont get the same bigass reaction as the first time did. case in piont--that scene. the audiance was just "oooooh!"ing and laughing, and the other 2 times, we just kinda,.. giggled lol

Joey!! he walks into M/C's place.. and asks for Mon's advice on if he should take the part. "i mean, its not like its porn. the nudity is really important to the plot!" "Joey.. thats what you say about porn." she says that he should take it, cuz lots of big actors do nude scenes, and blahblah. good supporative friend stuff. and then she ends with a giggle "plus, everyone will see your thingy!"

so he goes to the casting office, thinking hes gonna read again. the women tells him he wasnt supposed to come back. Joey, assuming the ::coughobvious::, says that they made a big mistake in not casting him etc etc, and ends with this adorable jaunty "good day to you!" and goes to leave. the women explains that the director loved what he did so much, that he was wanted for the part already, lol. Joey looks. and suddenly takes a bow, saying "annnnd, scene! see the fun there, i did a little improv!" ::snicker:: the women tells him that the director wants everything to be comepltly authentic.. so the.. (in the love scene he has to do with the Sarah character, who has never seen a naked man whose not Jewish) ..hes not supposed to be circumcised, cuz back then when the movie takes place, they.. werent lol. and dudes.. they did this scene a few times, and everytime Matt did his reactions differently, ALL hilarious.

again, he seeks Monica lol. shes all "so your not supossed to be--" "nope." "but you are--" "yep." "but you dont them you werent--" "i did." she then asks "and theres.. nothing there you can work with?" Joey stares at her with this pricless blank expression.. and then cracks up a couple times. haha but really, he says "no Mon, the doctor did a really good job!" hehehe! he says that in an audition, you always say yes to whatever they ask you. like riding a horse. "Joey! this is not like trying to ride a horse! its like.. trying to grow a turtleneck!" LMAO and then he says he'll have to turn down the part :( but aha! Monica gets an idea. well, first Courteney flubs the line a few times ;) then she says it-- "this may sound crazy, but i think we can make some sort of ...fashion." like what? yes, what? hmm.. she says that shes thinking of some scotch tape.. and some kind of lunch meat. (get it now?? do ya??) to which the entire audiance ERUPTS again. and then the scene is cut and Courteney and Matt high five :D the next time they do it, the meat thing doesnt get as much laughter, but then Joey says "great, and i'll have something to eat on the train ride home!" and they high five again, cracking up. and whoooa i seriosuly think that got the biggest laugh of the night. Matt was all "i'm sorry! i couldnt resist!!" and the hosty person was telling us to gibe it up for them :) and we were all screaming for him cuz he was just so cool haha and the host was like.. "Matt. Matt. MATT!!" finally, Matt looks. the hosty guy tells him we';re all screaming for him, and he does this cutest little Austin Powers-esque move with pointy fingers and big smile :D

Monica brings in a tray. of.. things she made for Joey. she tells him about them, and mentions a fur one she made, just for herself. which gets an amusing reaction from both Joey and the audiance. cuz um.. heh. if you've got a sick mind, you'll see it lol. he goes to try some one, proceeds to stick himself with a toothpick, and comes out saying "silly putty! not so silly anymore!" they hug :)

Joey is at the casting place. the director loves him, but needs him to prove that.. he isnt. so he strips down (this was obviously set covered.. cuz A) you could tell he really DIDNT strip cuz um.. why? lol and B) it would lose all the funnyness) and he says he doesnt have a problem with it, that this is the real him, 100% --while we see a shot of his feet with his pants around them.. and then--plop! that silly putty.. thing falls to the ground. ok, maybe i lied about that other thing getting the biggest laugh. ;) the director and women are all shocked.. obviously. and Joey says "thats never happened before." end scene and story :) again, they all hammed it up so much more each time they did that scene.

laaast plot! the Cassie plot. alrighty. the way they filmed without Matthew. they had a stand-in (who did a pretty good job of being Chandler lol) and they shot as much footage like that, then they'd reshoot just Matthew when he gets back, and impose it. boom! so anyway, Chandler walks in, and tells Monica hes so glad they have that 'no sex' pact. Monica says "yeah. its the best." not at ALL convincingly, and they decide to um.. screw it. lol. but then they stop, Monica saying she cant while Cassie is right there. Cassis comes out, played by Denise Richards, btw. Chandler and her greet each other, and they plan to go to dinner. then.. Cassie lets her hair down. cut to a pretaped SO shampoo commerical like scene, Cassie whipping her hair around in slo mo, with dramatic music. its *hysterical* Chandler stares. Monica tries to get his attention, and he goes "he'll be right with you" LOL.

later, at CP. Monica tells ROss that he has to let Cassie stay at his place, cuz Chandler couldnt stop staring lol. can you guess where this is going?

The scene they shot about 50 times haha. Ross lets Cassie in his place. "Cassie!" for some reason, he said that all funny lol. they hug, she says the last time she saw him, he was pitching a tent in the line to see Return of the Jedi ::giggle:: he says "oh, so you *did* see me, cuz you acted like you didnt." dude.. EVERY line of Ross' in this episode is sooo funny. David delievers them perfectly. Cassie says she was sorry, but she was 'with friends.' hrmuph. guess what happens next? Cassie lets her hair down. LMAO. Ross stares. Cassie points out that thats just how Chandler looked haha. said he does a good Chandler. "uh huh! i'm good with impressions." Cassie: well maybe once we get to know each other better, you'll do me! Ross: yeah.. NOO!! Me: LMAO

shoooort scene. no music. no talking. just a Ross zooming in reaction of seeing Cassie let her hair fling around all sexily. it. is. PRICELESS. absoutly wonderful, and i cannot say enough good things about it. :)

Cassie is eating. Ross walks nervously.. "are you done eating that..

remembers when he used to tackle her and tickle her til she cried. then he adds under his breath "probably to old for that now.." ::snort:: she says she remembers that summer so well cuz its when she got all those freckles. when she says this, she pulls her shirt neckline to show her freckles. and oddly enough (sarcasm), her bra strap. Ross backs away and stammers that he remembers it cuz its when he first realized that they were related. not just two people thrown at each other, but that they *share genetics*. shes all amused "took you that long, huh?" Ross says "well, i'm kinda slow." then again, under his breath--"as our children would be.." another tie for biggest laugh. :D

Ross and Cassie are watching a movie. he thinks to himself "she is your COUSIN. she is your cousin. she would be sickened" (again, not sure of the words..::sigh::) she grabs some popcorn out of the bowl.. on his lap. he then proceeds to convince himself otherwise. "..or would she?!" he does that cool eyebrow raising thing during his inner speech too--like the "doctor Geller.." from TO at Vegas :) then.. dun dun dun!! he goes to kiss her!! she is grossed out haha and asks what the hell hes doing. i cannot BELIEVE how funny the rest of this scene is.. he still talks to himself as she stares at him. "say something. say anything!! something clever. ::opens his mouth, no words:: ok, doesnt have to be clever, just say anything!! as long as there are WORDS!" this continues, with wonderful facial expressions. and finally he kinda sueaks out "i havent had sex in a really long time.." Cassie jumps away, and Inner Ross says "yeah, you *really* shouldnt have said anything." i CRACK the hell up,m and the people around me get annoyed.

what i assume is the tag scene-- now Cassie is at Phoebe's lol. she is getting blankets and pillows for her, and Cassie thanks her for letting her stay, blah blah. Phoebe starts to say its ok, and then BAM! hair scene again! Phoebe stares. "what??" Cassie says. Inner Phoebe: say something. say anything! oh just ask her out, shes not YOUR cousin!" end. :)

well.. thats it! Courteney left before the last scene wad filmed cuz she was sick (which sorta explains why she looked like she was freezing to death all day) and everyone yelled bye to her and her hubby :) whom had been around the whole time, but all i saw of him was his hat lol.

in one of the Ross and Cassie scenes, i was watching the monitors they have so you can see whats going on when you cant see the set.. and David messed up a line, and it hit me. watching the monitor, even though you obviously KNOW you're at a taping, its just like youre watching the actual show, and then when he messed up, i was like "what the??" before remembering this was being taped lol.

in the scene where i like Rach and Pheeb's clothes haha, when Lisa messes up over and over? i forgot to mention that one time she messed up, she came in and put her bag on the counter, saying her line, and accidently knocked a pencil off, and started laughing. then Jen went further by purposly knowcking a water bottle over and they were both laughing :) it was cute and funny.

just an insight.. everyone gushes over Matt. (for good reason) saying that hes the only cast member whose still got the comedic genius, blahblahblah. and everyone seems to hate Ross for some reason, so they all overlook David. EVERY SINGLE freaking line that David spoke (or Ross thought) and even just facial expressions--they were perfect. dead on. genius! i swear, the man can make one word hilarious.

but of course, all the Ross haters wont see this, because they'll say he was being sick and dumb and pathetic. as always. and why cant he be the same slightly geeky sweet boring guy from 1st season? i'm sorry, but you have to realize that even though they're just characters, they CAN have more than one personality trait! he can be wacky weird Ross, AND sweet smart Ross. I, personally love them both. just as i love both Monicas. Yes, even "Screechy" Monica!

i cant BELIEVE i forgot to mention one of the most hilarious Inner Ross lines ever!! after he tells himself to say ANYTHING at all, just make sure its WORDS, he goes "this is the LONGEST that anyone has ever NOT talked, EVER!!" could that BE any funnier?? :)

i know, this was really long and way to envolved with my own opinions. oh well! Jaime

So...um..."Friends" is resorting to...um...incest?

"It's true! It's true!"--Kurt Angle, the *other* Real American Hero Life sucks, but you *can* do something about it.

On Sun, 11 Mar 2001, Mike the Real American Hero stated this considered view. Waking from my doze, I hastily scrawled -

That depends on what your local laws are really - in the UK, cousins are allowed to marry. If they weren't, half our royal family would be locked up for incest! :)

It's not gross, you just react like that because of the way you've been brought up. In Europe nobody thinks twice about cousins marrying - Albert Einstein, Charles Darwin, and Edgar Allen Poe all married their cousins.

I don't understand why the writers are wasting their time on this stupid plot about kissing your cousin, when they can begin to write some stories to get Ross and Rachel back together.

Are the writers now the same writers who wrote in seasons 2-5? ~Matt~ Fine! Take their advice. No one ever listens to me. When the package is this pretty, no one cares what's inside.

And how many of these episodes were pro-ross and rachel. About 5, if that! These writers clearly hate r and r. In my opinion what the show needs is a writer like David E. Kelly, who actually knows what the viewers like and what makes them watch.

That's a *very* unfair statement to make, since I was asked to comment on Seasons 2-5, and the majority of these episodes occurred after R&R broke up halfway through Season 3. Having said all that, most of the pro-R&R episodes from Season 2, and the first half of Season 3, are there, as are virtually all the highlights that did occur thereafter.

What the list does illustrate is that the notion that today's writers are novices, who had nothing to do with earlier years, is complete rubbish.

Could be a good solution to the Mondler problem. Then, we could have Ursula and Phoebe hook up, followed by Rachel and Jill (but just to make Ross jealous, of course). Joey can hook up with Mary Angela, and Chandler'll get upset about that...

Why did I just type that? :)
