I would just like to point out a few things about Joey, Most people have him labeled as a womanizer who can never hold on to a serious relationship but when you think about it the serious relationships in his life have all been ruined and they were not his fault. For instance with Kathy. Him and Kathy had a great relationship and then Chandler runied it. I know at the time of Chandler and Kathy's kiss, Joey was on another date, but I don't think we can really hold that againist him. Phoebe was doing the same thing. Secondly in his relationship with Kate. He had "the night" as Monica put it. That is very important thing and he obviously had great feelings for her. Then Kate left. Then with Cecila the actress who played Jessica. He had deep feelings for her as well until she left as well. He also seemed to be developing a good relationship with Janine until her and Monica had a rift. In all of these situations Joey was let down not the other way around. I think it is wrong to deem him as a womanizer. He does want a relationship. I think one of the reasons his is a deemed as a womanizer is the fact that he might be afraid of being let down. He obviously wants a good relationship as he tells Ross and Frank Jr. in the eposoide where Frank Jr. is getting married.

Sure he wants one, but except for lately I don't think he's ever been much interested in really putting forth the effort required to have such a relationship. He's been madly comparison shopping for the best babe most of his life, discarding them almost as fast as he picks them up. That indicates personal growth by Joey *now*. He is more mature than he used to be.
Hey has anyone noticed that Joey hasn't really said anything about him still being in love with Rachael. What happened? Does he still like her and why all of the sudden did it not become so important to him? Maybe I missed something? Now ever since he told her the show has been more focused on Ross :( and Rachael:).
