ATF awards... finally!

Hi everyone! It actually is the ATF awards now after months of promises. And in the same week as the other major award ceremony of the year - that's right, the Razzies (and our one-and-only Courteney Cox Arquette is up for one!). *sniff* Well, I'd like to thank everybody on this group, the people who helped me move to the USA so that I get to see the episodes so much earlier (let's face it, NBC is better than European TV), my good friend, Ane, who made my dream about going to a taping of Friends come true last week, all the lovely people at Warner Brothers in Burbank, and my sister the spoiler-fan. And last, but certainly not least, a very special thanks to Tennant *waves*, whose reviews and posts are the best ones out there and who has been great to me ever since we were both newbies. I don't know who I'd discuss the episode-details with if you weren't around! :)

Well, what can I say, even though I knew a while back, but couldn't find the time to help, sorry Seran! I'd like to thank whoever was crazy enough to vote for me! I'd also like to thank Marta and David for creating such a great show, and whoever created ATF for such a great newsgroup. I'd also like to thank whoever invented computers and Tim Berners Lee for inventing the internet. I really wasn't expecting this, not two years in a row (that's not a boast, just one reason I'm surprised). Another reason is that I am much busier than I was a year ago, so I've not been able to devote as much time to ATF as I'd have liked, and many posts have had to go unanswered - lol, maybe that's how I won!

Last year I got into trouble by trying to thank everyone, and so this time I shall mention only one name. Well, i can't say I am proud of being killfiled cause in real life I never seem to have problems communicating with people but apparently in newsgroups some people are too touchy. I still can't understand why someone has to agree with a person all the time. Tennant has a low tolerance level for people not agreeing with him unless that person is a female. In any case, he is a very important part of this ng and he does post some great things here. He just has a bit too much time on his hands and interprets a vast majority of things as if he was the creator of the show. The voting showed that he is liked and also disliked at the same time by a lot of people. He saved me a lot of time by killfiling me since now there is no reason to read his posts too much, since i can't respond to him, therefore he gets away with many things he posts and nobody can defy his word without running the risk of getting killfiled. I must say that he did earn the awards he got though. Every single one of them.

I don't see what this story has to do with it. I am one of those people who believe what Tennant stated above but I have said several times that Tennant only does that if the person not agreeing with him is a guy. Tennant just doesn't like to be challenged. He just wants to go along typing his beliefs and have everyone agree with him. He is a smart guy and posts some great stuff but enough with all this crap please. Tennant is not a God and definitely not right all the time. If anything, the voting proved that Tennant has loads of people here who like his postings and equally loads of people who don't. I think that he some great stuff to post and also is a big part of this ng but nobody is perfect. Tennant has shown tremendous intolerance when it comes to having to deal with someone who does not agree with him and is not a female.
