How is Rachel a whore, people have to remember she is like a 30-something year old woman, who I believe she was behind Monica's plan to be a single mom. Look if Jennifer Aniston wants to have a child, I mean, she does have one of the most lusted-after husbands known to man, she should be able to have a child. I think the reason they left the season like that is so in case Courtney or Jennifer become pregnant, there can be some room to work it in. Monica could have denied being pregnant because she was not sure or she wanted to talk to him in person, and maybe because she was late, Rachel took one and is not sure or wanted to steal someone's thunder. I think it was brilliantly written and for Courtney and Jennifer, I hope both of them are pregnant in the next season.

It's not necessarily that. It's more, at least as I see it, that this just seems to defy logic, assuming we've been watching Rachel's life unfold in front of us the past few months. We'd assume if she were involved with someone to this extent, we'd have seen him.

It's always funny to see stupid ppl posting on Newsgroups. I usually ignore those, but this one was simply too stupid to be ignored. You should think about what you're writing first, before you make yourself look like a total idiot here.
First of all, I'm pretty sure, that the target audience of that show is of the same age of the characters portrayed. That is 20-35. Roughly spoken. Second of all, the way you address women here is NOT appropriate either. I personally don't care about people having sex before marriage. I don't mean to offend Americans here, but I guess the fact, that many Americans are quite prudish as far as sex is concerned (opposed to showing explicit violence), makes us Europeans shake our heads. And in your case it actually struck me, that stupidity does exist.
Shouldn't a grown-up be left alone with his/her decision to have kids or not? This is a show man, get real here! We don't even know the background of the character's (=Rachel's) pregnancy yet. Also, there are TWO people involved in a pregnancy. I don't get why the birth-control should be completely in the woman's responsibility.
Also, whores are getting paid for sex. So technically spoken, you're wrong with your expression, too. But let's not start nitpicking.
