I've been reading through the first season's scripts lately and spotted a possible mistake. In "The One With All The Poker" we find that Rachel has a hefty Visa bill. But didn't she destroy all her charge cards in one of the first episodes?

Well, technically she destroyed her father's credit cards that were issued to her. So, I suppose she *could* have gotten a card of her own. I don't know who would issue her a card, given her lack of credit history, but everyone needs to start somewhere.

True, but they were credit cards that her father was paying for. By cutting them up she was severing any financial ties she had with her dad.
