The One With The Ring Airdate: May 11th 2000
Brief overview. Bruce WIllis was in his final of 3 episodes. Phoebe, Monica and Rachel went to a museum and loved the decor and found out weddings were performed there, but there was a two year waiting list. They all put down their names. Chandler gets a phone call later in the day from this place saying there has been a cancellation so they can get married sooner. He goes out for the day. Monica calms him down when he gets back..... and she leaves. He then tells Phoebe that it is all arranged and now he has to get the ring. Phoebe and Chandler go to get the ring. They find the right one (very funny scene)..but Chandler has to go and get his credit card from Joey. Phoebe has to mind the ring. She starts trying on the jewels and stuff... but loves the muskets (more can be explained here)... and someone buys the ring. She tries to chase after him but the alarms go off and she gets trapped ina security cage. When Chandler gets back she says it gone, they get a lesser ring. When they get back, he isn;t happy.. Phoebe says she heard the guy who bought the ring say where he was going to propose. Chandler and Phoebe go to the restaurant and pretend that Phoebe is Chandlers fiance who is dying and her last wish is to get enagged with that ring. The guy swaps the rings with Chandler (who then tells this guys proposed.. that he was going to propose to hium later that night, thus spoling the surprise).
In the mean time... Ross and Joey are not speaking to Chandler (because he was being mysterious with Phoebe, and Phoebe convinced Ross it was because Joey and Ross went and saw a Knicks (spelling here, sorry Im English!) game without getting him a ticket). He blows them off a second time to go and collect the ring. They decide not to speak to him.
In the mean time 2... Rachel and Bruce WIllis (dammit forgotten the characters name) are still dating. Rachel wants Bruce to be more talkative and open about his past. When he eventually does, he starts crying and all these memories flood out for hours.. Rachel gets annoyed he just cries now... and when they both calm down, they end up in bed together...and after the sex Bruce starts crying again, Rachel chucks him.
Chandler comes in and tells Joey and Ross that he is going to ask Monica to marry him... they break their non-speaking thing.. then Rachel comes in and Chandler tells her... she is thrilled, then Phoebe comes in and she says she already knew and helped pick the ring (honeslty, the jewellers scenes are the best!)... Ross and Joey go back to watching the TV and ignore Chandler.
