The next three episodes after this weeks new episode (TOW Ross' Step Forward) are all reruns! The next new show isn't until 1-10-02. They had better make it it worth the wait. I don't think that I will have patience enough to wait nearly a month to watch a brand new episode. Someone help me!! :(

16th May 824..since two weeks of the February sweeps are taken up with Olympics, we know there will be new episodes on 31st January & 7th February, and just to make you happy I have *pretended* that the rest of January is filled in. But now look at what the result would be...
NINE Thursdays from 28th February to 25th April, and only FOUR episodes from 817 to 820 - that means bigger gaps or being rationed to one newie every two weeks. You would find your patience tested far more severely, especially since there will be no holiday season to distract you.
The thing is that Season 8 started a week late, and there are two weeks of Olympics in the way, so the schedule is more *crowded* than usual.

That's a possibility, or maybe they would fill in more of March & April.
One possibility was that the plan was to compete with "Survivor" by not airing a rerun just as the season was building up momentum - but since "Friends" is kicking ass these days, such a move is unnecessary.
Me too, but I'm quite confident that there'll be at least two more seasons, even if we don't see so much of Ross in them.
