middle names......

does anyone know what are the middle names for monica, ross, phoebe, and chandler? i don't think they ever mention during the show or maybe i just miss it! jt

There are only two we know for sure: Joey's is "Francis" and Rachel's is "Karen." Monica's middle initial is "E," but we don't know what that stands for.

Right, Ursula has shown no interest in her sister--she can barely be bothered to remember who she is, and can hardly wait to slam the door in her face when she comes by. I expect she barely looked at the birth certificate--probably only glanced at it to ensure she wasn't selling her own.

On a side note, I wonder whether we'll ever find out how Ursula fared while Phoebe was living on the streets. Did she live on the streets, too? Did someone take her in? She seems to have received their mother's important papers and other belongings, so probably she had a place to keep them. Hmmm.

why is almost everybody in the us having a middle name? why is that anyway? (and are there just ANY names chosen as middle names, or is it the names of relatives etc..)
