I guess they'll edit out that joke where Ross is so worried about Emma's safety on the boat, and Joey says it's just the Staten Island Ferry which goes so slow and carries cars.

The asst captain had evidently missed some of his blood pressure medicine and temporarily blacked out and the ferry was going way too fast when it should have been preparing to stop for unloading. It hit a concrete pier ripping open the side"like a can opener" according to some passengers. People were killed - some lost limbs - it was horrible. The asst captain came to himself, jumped overboard, hurried home and tried to commit suicide. He is in the hospital in serious condition and the last I heard they were looking for the actual captain who they've yet to talk to. That was last night I believe. Terri

However, I don't think they'll need to edit the episode. Joey wasn't so much making a joke, as expressing commonplace opinion that unspectacular transport systems are inherently safe; which we see is not the case.
In my review of 805 "TOW Rachel's Date", published 2nd November 2001, I said that Ross could have had a point, since ferries are so dangerous.
Also, there's another reference - in 301 "TOW the Princess Leia Fantasy", Ross jokes about Joey doing it on the back of the Staten Island Ferry.
