Today when I was watching the episode "TOW the Embryos" I noticed in one part where Courtney screwed up a line.
She goes "Look Rach, we have to move. I mean if WE had lost, we would’ve made them get rid of the birds. Right?". Shouldn't she have said 'if they had lost'? Too bad the editors didn't catch that.

The philosophical point is, is this an error? Why should the characters always get everything right? Monica & her friends are supposed to be like real people, and real people sometimes make mistakes, so why not her?

True but since Monica and her friends are supposed to be real people who mistakes, shouldn't her friends have corrected her?

Only if they pick up on it. Remember, we have the opportunity to view their conversations over and over again; they don't. Do you pick up on every mistake your friends make the first time around?
