I'm new here, so pardon me if this question has been asked. You don't have to answer it if it is a common question here. Which character on the show do you identify with the most?
I identify with Chandler. I always have some weird quip about something. I don't think I have a serious moment with my best friends and I'm kind of the odd one of the group. Remove "bo" to reply.
I'm a mix of Chandler and Monica. I have much of hte same sarcasm as Chandler and am either hilarious or I'll go a few days without saying a joke, depends on my mood and situation. I have those Joey moments though every now and again. I am as competitve as Monica but am almost the opposite of a neat freak.

Well, on a quiz on a Friends web site, it said I was most like JOEY which freaked me out a bit, buuut.... I'm more of a mix between Phoebe and Chandler, Phoebe because I like to use her ways of speaking and Chandler because my friends say I'm hardly ever serious.

While I would _like_ to be more like Chandler (especially that part about having of a team of writers help me find just the write sarcastic/pop-culture quip to say), I am probably much more like Ross -- geeky (as in knowing a lot about a specialized field or two, and not much else in other fields), awkward in social situations, and a romantic.
However, Ross is _much_ more impulsive than me -- and by that, I mean he seems to make a lot of decisions regarding his personal life based on how he feels right then, not on long-term experience or logic. That is _not_ me at all!
Everyone saying they are like Chandler means either they don't have a very realistic picture of themselves or they aren't nearly as funny as they think they are. Or both.
notice how I was very specific into how I thought I was like him. I said funny at times, not as much, let me add not as good. It's not easy to always come up with a funny joke, they don't all work. I also said not every day depends on the mood. SO take that back.
I also said I had joey moments and was as competive as Monica. I am more laid back as Rachel is. I have passion in computers so I guess you can say I am like Ross in that way.
so I am all the friends combined. How's that?

I don't think anyone is exactly like one of hte characters. I think that they should do what I do and pick characteristics of themsleves that they are like in each or pick one and describe more in depth then just I'm like Chandler. Well chandler has a lot of personality traits. Are you afraid of commitment but when you finally find true love can slowly get up to it? Are you witty all the time, do you make jokes when you are uncomfortable in a situation? ect. ect.
For me I make jokes when i am comfortable in a situation which is weird I know. I don't much talk when I am in a uncomfortable situation I just kinda sit there and am extremely shy. I can't think of anything good to say and am pretty much going to keep to myself till one person can make me feel comfortable then watch out :o). I also try and make people feel better by making them laugh or smile, or when they feel they are at a dead end ect. So I use humor for different reasons then Chandler. and his Witt by far out weighs mine :O), but I am good at telling stories.
Ok I should be more specific. I was more trying to describe myself against Monica and how I am not a neat freak but more like Rachel, not really parnoid or caring about everything being neat ect.

I'd probably say that I'm Ross with the confidence and geeky thing, Chandler with the "get so annoyed at other peoples' stupidity I make fun of them", and Phoebe's surrealism, but this changes when I'm in different situations. We all need humour to get us through life, and we all make jokes about more serious situations to help in this. That's all they do.
So, of *course* we can identify - that's the beauty of the show.

I think that is why the show is such a hit..... you can pick out and relate to each character at different moments.....

That's like, horrible! How can you do that? I'd be a *total* zombie. People are afraid to look at me for the first 2 hours in the morning if I didn't sleep 8 hours. Some tried to actually start a conversation. Needless to say, they only try once :)

funny you should say that, because I am dead for the first 2 hours I get about 50 people asking if I'm awake yet at least!
I dont know but it's a lot concidering cashiers there don't get tips or anything, and no one else ever does except occasionally a stock boy will when they carry out the costumers groceries and if it's a rich customer. Once I did that and got a buck *woohoo* they never get more then 5 and it only happens about 2% of the time.

the regular costumers ask me the same questions over and over, and all the others follow suit.
ahh you are wrong. They get paid a very low hourly wage, below minumum because of tips, It's usually between 4.30-5.15 an hour plus tips. They can pull in an extra $200 a night in tips though.
