With Frasier ending, Kelsey Grammer is apparently miffed that NBC is promoting Friends as the best comedy ever. He said, I understand NBC doing that but "we all know that it isn't"

Both are great shows. Neither are top of the overall comedy pile.
It's all subjective. There is no "best sitcom" that the entire TV viewing public will agree upon. My husband thinks Seinfeld was great and now thinks Raymond is the funniest. I don't. Currently, I feel Friends is the funniest. Past sitcoms that IMO were funny were Cheers, WKRP, Rosanne. It's all goes back to who thinks what is funny. ~~~ Kathy
