If that's the case, then blame the media who tried to do the same thing by asking people "Will you miss 'Friends' now it's finished?" The answer was apparently a resounding "No".

However, that's just hype to generate the repeats market and on they go. If ratings fall then they'll take them off, but if they're on 10 times a day then it's because people are watching.

It's like Sky One repeating old Simpsons eps. I'll tune in now and again but won't make a point of watching specifically. I'll still watch the new ones even though I know they won't be as good.
