Where is the enthousiasm? Where's the fanaticism? Where are all you pro Rachel-Ross people? Where are the pro Rachel-Joey people? Someone's getting married, some are adopting, some are in a love triangle...
Tomorrow's the final season's premiere you people!!!
Do we have transcribers for the episode? Why isn't the French site updated? Why isn't the official site updated? Why aren't there any discussions about tomorrow's episode on this newsgroup?
Or have we had enough of Friends? Same old problems been dragging on for 10 years? And now they have to incorporate the spin-off? Will it still be 'Friends' in the end, or will it be 'Joey'? I haven't even bought any of the season 9 dvd's yet. I'll wait until they are in Warner's Best Buy program (and half the price). Season 9 wasn't able to make me wanting to buy them at the release date.
But still, maybe it's not going to be that bad this year. Will it be a worthy ending to a great show. (keeping fingers crossed)
i was wondering about the same stuff... at first i was a rachel/joey fan, but after the summer. i'm not sure anymore. also, the adoptions story is so lame, i can't even tell...
i don't want to admit it, not even to myself, but i think 10 years are now, regarding the storylines, enough. regarding "my friends", i never want the show being ended. about 'joey' i don't know... are there really so many storylines without repeating the old ones? joey as a serious actor? there has to be a serious incident regarding his skills, otherwise he will end up as waiter still waiting for his big moment or so... ;-)

That worries me. I need it because I have a 56Kbps modem and therefore I have to download the divx version and it's better if it's splitted.
Let's see what happens when it will have been aired.
They say there's not going to be 'Joey' connection in the 10th season finale. I do hope that 'Joey' will be great so I will watch it. If it will be a crap sitcom I will simply stop watching it and my end will be 'Friends'.
Well, not me. I have them. And I am dying for the premiere episode. I have to see it. It's going to be fun. No matter what happens, no matter how stupid are going to be the lines, I will still love it, it's 'Friends', almost 10 years of my life, passing by. We've seen the characters growing, almost grown-ups now. We laughed when they laughed, we cried when they cried, our heart was throbbing madly when we didn't know what was going on, we were scared, cold, hot. We loved them, we hated who they hated, we loved who they loved, we hated them when they did stupid things, but we forgave them. We travelled with them. We were in New York, in Vegas, in London, in Rome, in Oklahoma, in Barbados. We have even been in a fake backpack trip across Western Europe and we did - not - climbed the mount Tibidabo, near Barcelona! We won with them, we lost with them. We had pools going. I know I will miss them. These are the last eighteen episodes. Let's enjoy them. We won't get more. We won't be surprised anymore. Anything will be a d�j� vu, something we've already seen. We will love it, but it won't be the same, the nights wathing it. Let's remember this. This is our last chance to watch it "for the first time". I'll miss 'em, man. I know. I miss 'em already.
I am so glad I have finally found someone who loves the show as it is, no matter what. I've been lurking in here for months and all I see is bitching about this or that with no one actually seeming to like the show. I wonder why these people still watch it? I love Friends totally. It doesnt matter if Ross is with Rachel or even if he shacks up with a returning Marcel, remember guys...It happens because it's in the script, and its a little too late to whine about it after it airs. Maybe you should have tried to get a job on the show....

How true you are! I've always been one to really get excited - even have watching parties - at the start of a new season. It's just not the same. I think even for those who want R&J, the R&R thing kept people coming back for more. The cute, funny, sad, nostalgic, hateful (need I go on...) ways their story line kept bouncing, seemed to tie all the others in to be one. Now, actually you could have about 4 or 5 spinoffs because the story lines seem so separate. It used to be that all six friends had interacting story lines and each uplifted the other. Now, it seems as though the writers are struggling to keep the $450,000 commercial spots filled. From the spoilers I've seen, I'm not excited til about the 3rd or 4th episode of the season.
