I cannot believe it

Season 9 starts in less than a week and I couldn't care less. I admit I've skimread over the spoilers for 901 and 902 and I *really* don't like what I read. S8 wasn't that good (in fact I think it was pretty bad, strong contender for worst season ever), but if the first two eps are anything to go by, S9 is going to make S8 look like a masterpiece... The worst thing is, I am *still* going to be online every Friday, trying to get the new Friends episode from #dlf ASAP and I'm *still* going to buy the boxset once it'll be released :(

Pathetic? No, I don't think so... I like the earlier seasons better as well. At least my earlier season - stupid warner bros cardboard - dvd boxes seem more worn out than the later seasons.

Earlier this week (when I bought the S8 17-24 dvd) I noticed again that S8 had some truly bad episodes. Worst ones ever. (i.e. The One At Massapequa... what was that all about?)

And still I bought the dvd as soon it was in the shops. (last tuesday) I guess, like you, I want to have a complete set anyway, no matter how bad it gets...

Maybe that's why the writers don't want a 10th season. It's noticable that they are (almost) out of good ideas.
