Just so EVERYONE knows:
YES there will be a 9th season and it has been agreed by those involved that it will be their last. There are also plans to make a spin-off of Joey, with his career taking him to California, only to have the job fall through and leave him stranded with new adventures every week I'm sure.
We should all know whats going on, and from no on, incompetence on this issue should be untolerated. There will BE no 9th season cliffhanger. Got it?! :-D yay!

And what makes you sure they will wrap everything in a neat little bow to end the series? How can you be sure they won't end the 9th season leaving us all wondering? (a la cliffhanger) ...could happen...
logical, if the cast etc "ever" wanted to start production again, then it will leave the door open for them to do so.....

Furthermore, the producers have been quoted as saying the only reason they're doing a 9th season is so they can end things with the characters right, so yes-there will be no cliffhanger. That would be mean and not right of the producers, and something they wouldn't do to end their show forever until a reunion years later.

LOL...so since you feel it would be "mean" and "not right", then it won't/can't happen...too funny... :) Yes, I understand they want to "end" things with the characters...but that still doesn't mean it will all be "resolved"...many series have ended with you wondering what was going to happen next... LOL...hope you get your happy all solved/resolved/neat/no cliffhanger ending...
