If they are going to pursue a story line about the Bings adopting a child it would be funny if Joey found out he was adapted and not of italian decent.
It would be great to see him struggle with a new ethnic identity, not because he wants to but feels he has to. Like if he was really German he would start eating only German foods. The good thing is that now he could buy the Porsche off of Monica (they'll need the money for the adoption).
Somehow, I foresee the Bings planning to adopt a baby, and end up adopting an older child. I guess we'll see what happens. April

Thats exactly what I would like to see. I predicted they were going to go the route of adoption before they mentioned on the show their inability to procreate.
As an advocate for adopting older children I really hope thats what happens. For the story line though it would be fun to see some obnoxious tag a long kid that they keep running into that has a tendancy to make fun of everybody. Kind of like a younger version of chandler.
Monica & C man have no clue this kid is an orphan and discover it one day when trying to catch up with the kid for some reason. Realizing the kid needs a home & they are growing attached......

Well, so am I, but I cannot imagine a couple going from frantically trying to conceive, to being infertile, to deciding to adopt - all in one week !

I have my dream of them adopting & its not a common baby/child topic on sitcoms... Can anyone remember a series where the kids were adopted or a couple decided to adopt? I knwo of one that was in the 80s? With the girl on "Martin" it was a musical because the kids all sang & the dad was a millionaire or something I cant remember the name of the show though.
I have this wierd feeling though that the show will end with the Bings looking into the adoption thing & finding out they are preggers just as the series ends. Will they still adopt? I hope so.
