In France, they sell the DVDs for season 4 and 5 for around US�$60 for the whole season (3 DVDs) It's in English and dubbed in French, Dane, Sweedish, Finnish (sp?) and close captioned. Unfortunately not in German...

Right now in France (VHS Secam format) you can get a half-season for +ACQ-15 (That's right+ACE-). So that's +ACQ-30 per season, +ACQ-150 seasons 1-5 (6 not out yet). How does that sound? Although I guess if you can view Secam tapes it's all off... There's a teeny tiny chance I +ACo-might+ACo- be able to help you though. I have no idea if this could actually work, but see... I have a friend in NJ (so basically, near your area). She studies French and her teacher often brings over tapes from France. HE CAN SWITCH SECAM TO NTSC+ACE- Now, if you realllly want it, I can ask my friend if her teacher would and could do that for Friends tapes. That will be 10 bucks more I guess, for the shipping and all, you know. The DVDs may be on sale too, but I'm not sure about that and only seasons 4 and 5 are available. I'll have to check their price though. If you're interested, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Yeah, my newsreader wasn't too happy with it. Oh well, I don't suppose they'll be much use for it here. Although, when I went to france last month, it was odd to see all of the prices in the grocery stores in Euros. Simple conversion for me, though. It's practically 1 to 1 these days.
