It's good to see that this show is getting out of its slump.

First, we have the storyline with Phoebe and Rachel coming back from their self-defense class (why is it that in most sitcoms there's always an episode about self defense?). Ross wonders if they've heard about Unagi, a state of awareness. Rachel is convinced it's a type of sushi. Ross continues on a big, long, scientifical explanation for Unagi, then attempts to catch Rachel and Phoebe by surprise. Needless to say, it doesn't work. Then Rachel and Phoebe catch Ross by surprise in his own apartment! Another big laugh scene (for me anyway) is when Ross confronts the self defense teacher. By the way, was it obvious to anyone else that the girls during the tag weren't Rachel or Phoebe?

Second, there was the Joey and his twin story. I think the funniest part of the episode for me was when Joey's twin walks into C+M's apartment and acts like its no big deal. (Actually the part were I laughed out loud the most were Joey moments - him wondering why Chandler couldn't make crotchless panties, him using the 'study of Joey' line on the receptionist....I could go on.)

The Chandler and Monica story didn't really amuse me, which is odd, since I'm a big C+M fan. The only parts where I remember laughing were when C was scrambling to find M a gift, and when Janice's voice came on the tape.

A great episode in all, but I think it could've done without the Chandler and Monica story (I can't believe I just said that ;).

Does anyone know why there was a change in the opening credits?

Also, was it me, or did their hairstyles have subtle differences?

That was the second funniest scene in my book..I was debating between teh 2 actually.

I thought what Monica did was sweet though even though she was trying to make up for it and when I heard Janices voice..I couldnt even watch I nearly fell off the couch!

Maybe.....I really enjoyed that subplot though..

EXTREMELY!! Phoebe's hair and Chandlers hair were COMPLETLY different. I like Chandler better with short hair..I hope he cuts it *puts hands together and crosses fingers on one hand*

Hehehe. Matthew changes his hair every five seconds. You needn't worry about that. Oddly enough, -(you said something about it making his forhead more noticeable, I believe)- men usually grow their hair out to decrease the emphasis on their foreheads... you know... prevent the bald look. Don't tell I'm wrong because I've been studying my friend's father for quite some time now. I doubt Matthew ever worried, however, ... his dad *still* has a good head of hair.

I very much like what they did with Lisa... the thin bangs spread on her forehead were very becoming on her.

Courteney... I saw, (taped,) her on Leno not long ago and got to feel extremely jealous then. But the feeling came again now. I suppose the change was a big recovery from what everyone calls the "scream 3 mishap". I don't know... I rather liked her hair in Scream as well. Again, the fact that she's one of my favorite actors does not play a role in my opinion... well... maybe it does a bit.

As for myself- I actually got a haircut myself today. Chopped off a good SEVEN inches. In three months it'll be back down it's old length. :-/ Wow... my friends are going to create a little frenzy tomorrow. They do this every time I try something new, whether it be hair colors of highlights or... whatever. (Rolls eyes.) I'm sure all females can relate.

I can't believe I just wrote about hair... and only hair... how sad am I? :-( OK... I suppose I have an excuse mainly because of my sex. Power to women. :-)

I used to know a guy on another message board that would review Teri hatcher's hair every week after each Lois and Clark episode. ONly Hair. If he thought it looked bad, the entire episode sucked.

I like it better sohrt. That whole spike thing made him look adorable! The longer hair is here to stay for awhile, at The Whole Nine Yards premier, his hair was still like that. Incredibly enough, a friend of mine who had his hair done in the whole spike thig, recently shved his head, about the smae time Matthew changed his hair do. He-he!

When I saw her hair, I said this is one of the reasons I'm letting my hair grow out! That layered look looks so pretty on her, much softer than the one length 'do of the earlier episodes of the season.

They always do around halfway through the season, usually in Feb sweeps.

It did look different. But they tend to change there hair alot throughout the year

Yes, those pictures were the inspiration. ;) I don't really look like any of those (at least the hair part), but it's like four or five inches shorter, and has chunky layers in the front. Too bad my scanner's still broken! :(

Hi all, I have been lurking the past month and have really enjoyed this NG. I decided to join up and get in on all the fun, but bear with me. I have never posted before and I'm not great with computers, unless doing something related to MS Office Works. Anyway...I loved last night's episode!! I won't give away any spoilers, but I was falling out of my seat laughing at Ross, Rachel, and Phoebe! I taped the show and ended up watching it 3 times back to back. I hope the rest of the season continues along the fabulous writing lines of TO that Could Have Been and TOW the Unagi!
