I'm pretty sure that " 710", TWWChandler Can'tTip, the Christmas episode, was taped on October 20 because in the US Weekly article on MP, the author makes reference to watching MP in action at rehearsal and describes a very Christmasy scene in which Chandler...., well I won't say. According to an NBC web site, that episode will be broadcast December 14. I was surprised to see that there would be a new episode on December 7, too. Maybe NBC had some commitment issues as to when to broadcast new ep's in December. As far as I can tell, 711 is to be broadcast on January 11, so we'll have to see if that changes too.

I've only read the titles, I haven't read the spoilers, and I don't want to. But I've pasted them unseen at the end of this post. Can you read them and then let me know if 709 & 710 swapped places, or did they bring in a whole new 709, while the old 709 became 710, and the old 710 became 711?

709 TOW Chandler Can't Tip (14/12/00)

DREIDELS ARE NO MATCH FOR SANTA WHEN ROSS TRIES TO INTRODUCE HIS YOUNG SON TO CHANUKAH -- Ross (David Schwimmer) is thrilled to have his young son Ben (guest star Cole Mitchell Sprouse, "Big Daddy") for the holidays and wants to introduce the tyke to Chanukah -- but the festival of lights pales when a wide-eyed Ben clamors for only Christmas carols, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and especially, Santa Claus. Meanwhile, Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) eagerly anticipates moving back into her newly refurbished apartment again with Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) but feels she must first drive a wedge between Rachel and her current roomie, Joey (Matt Le Blanc). Also, a clumsy Chandler (Matthew Perry) cannot seem to master the fine art of greasing the palms of maitre-d's with folded money in order to secure better service. Courteney Cox Arquette also stars.

Monica's Party: It is a big formal party thrown by Chandler. Her parents are there as well as all of her other friends. There are Caterers and everything. There is one problem.... Monica is very, very drunk. She got drunk before the party and now Chandler has to help keep it a secret from her parents. Rachel helps Monica into her dress and Phoebe tries to help by getting twice as drunk as Monica. ) The secret finally gets out to her parents and Monica a falls over. *Very Funny Scene*

Phoebes Party: Phoebe goes a mile on a "hippity hop" ( one of those big bouncy ball things that has a handle that you hold on to and jump on). She crosses a finish line held by Ross and Chandler outside Central Perk. She celebrates and says the only thing she didn't accomplish before her 30th birthday was to make up with her sister. So Phoebe goes to see Ursula and gives her the hippity hop. Ursula tells Phoebe that they aren't 30, that they're 31. Phoebe then gets depressed and goes to Central Perk. She then tells what she didn't get to do before her 31st birthday (Meet a Portuguese person, have the perfect kiss, and go to snipper school). She decides to walk home and Joey goes with her. When they get out side Joey tells her to close her eyes which she does. He then kisses her for like 10 seconds. He tells her that she can take one thing off her list, she smiles and nods.

As Joey walks away he tells her that he's one-sixth Portuguese. She smiles and they part ways. Ross's Party: For Ross's birthday he buys himself a car. Everyone is surprised. Phoebe wants to take a ride so she gets in. Ross tries to back the car out when he realizes that he is blocked in by a mini van and another car. Phoebe tries to break into the van and an alarm goes off and everyone goes running. They come back and they try to lift the car up and slide it out but it doesn't work. This whole time, Ross is thinking that this car will make him a chick magnet. Finally, Ross and Joey come back and the van and the other car are gone. They get in the car, start it up and then an old, fat, bald guy pulls up in the same e kind of car. He gives Ross a thumbs up and the Ross gets depressed. He offers to sell the car to Joey and Joey says no.

We are apparently getting two new episodes this December. 709 will be TOW All The Candy, and 710 will be TOW Chandler Can't Tip. Like 707 and 708, these were filmed in reverse order.

No, that is actually 711. We never had a spoiler for 709.

Here is all we know:

709 - TOW All The Candy (filmed 11/3, airs 12/7) 710 - TOW Chandler Can't Tip (filmed 10/20, airs 12/14) 711 - TOW <title unknown> (filmed 11/10, airs 1/11) 712, 713, and 714 will be filmed in December.
