Friends Jan. 26th

I just attended the tape of Friends last friday, it was a very funny episode directed by David Schwimmer : Excellent show !

Hi Can you give us any idea of what happened in the form of a spoiler? Even just a little one. As David was directing was he in the episode very much?

OK so YES David was on the show and he was incredbly funny at the end of it...

So we have 3 major storylines : - Phoebe has an headache and has to take pills Monica gave her and then she discovers that she has every diseases described in the booklet of the medicine.

- Joey 'Reverend' wants to marry Mon & Chandler and always use the words "have, give, receive" in his speeches, very funny. BUT Chandler discovers that during the 1st night in London Monica actually wanted to sleep with Joey so he doesn't take it very well... (we have a flashback for their night in London, very funny !)

- Ben always repeats what people tell him and that makes Rachel mad ("Oh crap !"), we also have a scene with Carol "My Best friend Carol 'Lesbian'", and she had a line on her face (You'll understand when you'll see that !) And the last scene, Ross goes to Rachel's with Ben and he had a "Poop" sign on his back and Rachel told him Ben put it there. So he goes mad and run after Ben when a terrible accident happens... IT IS VERY VERY VERY FUNNY. I can't tell you what happens... Sorry... You'll have to wait until the broadcast on... I don't know, when ?

It was a good show, again directed by David Schwimmer who seems to have a great time doing that job.

David Schwimmer's a James L. Brooks wanna-be. BTW, Brooks is responsible for directing shows such as Mary Tyler Moore, Taxi, and even Friends.

Brooks did not direct MTM, Taxi, and Friends. He PRODUCED MTM, Rhoda, Taxi, Jerry Maguire, Lou Grant, whole ton of stuff. In TV, the director is not the big kahuna, the producer is. IMDB does not give Brooks any credit at all for Friends.

Brooks also wrote AND directed the movies As Good As It Gets, Broadcast News and Terms of Endearment. He wrote a number of other movies, and produced many more. Schwimmer is not a writer. Brooks was never an actor.
