Storyline:: Phoebe decides to give a shot at dating Monica’s sous-chef, Tim, until Phoebe realizes he’s obnoxious and wants to break up with him. But things get risky between Monica and Phoebe after Monica proposes that she is going to fire Tim. Now it becomes a race to see who can tell him the bad news first.

Review: Out of all the storylines in this episode, this was where most of the funny jokes came out of of the whole episode. This shows Monica being competitive once again and funnily enough she doesn’t win….again. But this time I enjoyed her competitiveness because of all people it was competing with Phoebe, the cooky one. I know I said I didn’t like the competitiveness in The One With Rachel’s Indavertent Kiss, but this storyline wasn’t as annoying. Phoebe seemed normal in this episode and to me, she stole the show again. I thought it was funny when caught Tim’s kiss and threw it back at him and when she sold out to Monica, after Monica rehired Tim. I’m starting to like Monica again because I am finding it funny that she never wins when she competes. Even the writers poked fun at Monica’s screaming by telling everyone “I’m not going to put a dollar in the jar.” And they even poked fun at Monica’s (Cox-Arquette’s) hairstyle.. Even though it started off a bit slow, it still made me laugh.. I was hoping Phoebe would win through out the whole episode, and funnily enough she did in a funny way.
I don’t know about you guys, but was Tim already in an episode of Friends, not as a lead character or anything.
Storyline Grade: 92 (A) -------------------------------------- Storyline:: One of Chandler’s co-workers, Bob (Chris Parnell), mistakes Chandler for a guy name Toby. Things become even worse after Chandler gives a bad wrap on Bob to one of his other workers which makes Bob angry at Toby, who is actually Chandler. Now Chandler tries his best to make sure Bob doesn’t find out he was the one who actually gave him the bad wrap.

Review: I am going to be honest: this storyline to me was so not interesting and wasn’t that funny. The only laugh I really got out of it was the ending when Bob is destroying Chandler’s office and Chandler decides to help. Chris Parnell, who is part of the Saturday Night Live cast, is usually funny but this time around he didn’t make me laugh at all. I really didn’t like the fact that Chandler was now secluded from his other five friends. Many of us are tired of the Mondler storylines but couldn’t he have done a storyline with Joey or Ross? It’s like if he doesn’t have a storyline with Monica, then he can’t have storylines with any of the other friends. Don’t get me wrong, but it was nice seeing Chandler’s work again, although we still don’t know exactly what he does. Once again, Chandler didn’t create any sarcastic remarks. His line about wanting to know where to find the best porn was funny, but not Chandler funny. (It’s a shame that he still looks at porn just a few weeks after he got married.) Maybe if I watch it again I’ll try to find laughs which might be hard. I am glad that this didn’t primarily take up the whole episode. But we did happen to find out that Chandler’s middle name is Muriel. I was confused at first of what the writers were trying to get to but when Ross said it was his middle name, I started to laugh a bit.
Storyline Grade: 70 (D+) ------------------------------- Storyline:: While Ross has envisioned his picture of a family with Rachel, Rachel decides she can still date other men which bothers Joey and Ross most of all. Rachel finally realizes how her life is going to be different from this point on.

Review: Again, a Ross and Rachel storyline that takes up most of the episode. To me this RnR storyline seemed a lot more sentimental than the RnR storyline in 803. Some of the focal points that made it seem very dramatic were: Ross and Joey’s questioning of Rachel going out on dates while she is pregnant with Ross’ baby, Ross painting the perfect picture of family life, Joey comforting Ross about the family life he wants and if it is with Rachel, Rachel realizing how the rest of her life might be different, and Rachel walking in on Ross talking to Mona from episode 801. I felt some sorrow for Ross because I too hope that the picture he wants of family life is with Rachel but it’s just upsetting that it’s not working out the way he wants it to be. Joey, again, comforted Ross but at the same time tried to lighten him up a little. The look on Rachel’s face after she gets up from the steps, got me, including her walking in on Ross talking to Mona. I thought the outside of Central Perk scene was well-written. Is it me or does it sound weird when Ross says “my baby”?
Even though it was a bit sentimental it still created a few laughs. Some of the funniest parts include the whole Days of Our Lives filming scene; with Dr. Drake Ramoray (Joey) saying “that sounds pretty easy” after he hears a complicated medical procedure. His face gestures were pretty funny too, Another part that was funny was Rachel saying “does this outfit look slutty?” as soon as Cash walks in. I thought that Ross saying she looked slutty right after she left was pretty childish and considered the weak part of the storyline.
And wasn’t Monica right in 801 about how it was going to be hard to find a date while she’s pregnant (although she was thinking of Phoebe who was pregnant at the time)?
