weird floorplan

anyone notice that when chandler, monica, and phoebe were listening to ross and charlie - the floorplan of the hotel seemed a litle...weird? the positioning and alignments of the rooms didn't seem like it would work. just an observation

Yeah, I caught that too. When they were listening against Ross's wall I was trying to figure out what the floorplan would be since it seemed they should be listening to the hallway. I guess we're supposed to not worry about little things like that.

The door outside the room was behind them because Ross entered from the door after he left his room and we saw him enter. Monica & Chandler's room had a connecting door to Rachel's room. This is a really weird hotel.

You could see the hall through the door as it continued down the wall. The only thing I can assume is that the door was at an L in the hallway. If you remember shots of the hall outside of Rachel's room, the hall also made an L, but it went away from her room. So her room was off of a different hallway than the rooms for Ross and Monica. Any idea where Joey's room was?

Yeah, they do weird things with sets. I've always thought that M & C & J & R's building is very strangely laid out.
