"A Bitter Bride-to-Be" Fearing her engagement to Chandler will be upstaged by a bigger news flash, Monica whines and moans like never before as the show's eighth (yeah, TV Guide is dumb) season kicks off.

Feeling bubbly about announcing her impending nuptials, Monica plans a champagne celebration with her pals. But she's all sour grapes after spying Ross and Rachel in an intimate clinch--which as everyone speculating whether the ex-lovers will finally reunite. Meanwhile, as the future Mrs. Bing tears into Rachel for "stealing her thunder," the ever-neurotic Chandler worries about succumbing to performance anxiety on his wedding night.

What the #$@&?!?? Why is this nothing like the spoiler from the taping? What happened to Rachel's assistant and Joey's new gig?

Was there a taping on Labor Day that we missed? Did the original 703 get swapped like 610 and 611? 704 continues from 703, so the spoiler couldn't have been fake.

Also, there is no mention of Ross, so I'm wondering if DS directed this one.

Well, at least there is no C&M story for once (sort of, anyway).

Wow. This actually sounds like a funny episode. Could it be that "Friends" is actually gonna get back on track? And there's some decent continuity here: Phoebe makes the best oatmeal cookies (I believe), so naturally, it wouldn't be too hard to make the best chocolate chip. And Chandler gives Jack a lap dance? I predict a laughing fit. :)
