Spoiler for 713 Rosita Dies

For those who haven't seen episode 713 yet here's a spoiler space.

Here's the thing - episode 713 was one of the '40 minute' Friends specials shown in the States - but why did E4 have to cut it to bits? I noticed that several lines were cut out - mainly the whole segment of the discussion/argument between Joey, Rachel and Chandler over who should get the new chair, which in my opinion made the tag at the end make sense. Anyone else agree. I am fortunate enough to have several episodes from the 7th season (yet to be seen) which includes this one and I am not happy that E4 did this - why not make a slight change in scheduling to accommodate it, it's only for a couple of episodes.

I know that it may not seem a big deal but the network in the States already edited it to make it fit 'their' timeslot, which when they did it it made sense - why can't E4 (and the other channels) just show the originally aired versions? Don't we pay for the television service anymore? I know this isn't the first programme that they have done this too but it makes me so mad!!!!

What does everyone else think?

Actually, this is probably the one weak script in the entire bunch of expanded episodes. The shortened version is probably better after all. You'll find this episode is not particularly amusing.

That's not the point though is it really? I mean, it has already been edited by the makers in the States, so why should we get an even more 'edited' version?
