Before you say anything - I know this aired in the US almost 2 years ago, but believe it or not, it had it's first airing in the UK this week - on C4 at 2.30am. :(

What did you think of the tribute, Paul? There was a lot of silly stuff from decades long ago, but nothing from the early years of the real show, perhaps not too surprising given the way they kicked out the original supporting cast. At least C4 showed the episodes in the correct order, which did not happen in the USA (according to epguides.com).

I know agree that Ellen got cancelled because of poor episode quality, rather than her being a lesbian. There were only about 3 or 4 good ones in the final season.

S1 is the only season I don't have on tape - hopefully the PCC will rerun it again though.
I noticed that too. We also got Buffy S3 in the right order, though the reasons for the US's out-of-sequence screening were understandable!
Hellooooo!!! After getting drunk in Vegas, Paul Hyett doodled cat whiskers on his/her face and miaowed this little lot at a statue...
They did completely remove some scenes from S3 Buffy over here, though, for what reason is unknown as the scenes in question sound perfectly innocent (you'd have to go over to one of the Buffy NG's to see which ones, though, as I can't remember them all right now).

Wow, Ireland is actually ahead of the UK with Ellen to :) I seen that episode at about 2.30am about 4 months ago Was surprizing alright I couldn't believe it when I saw it
I really wish RT� would sort out a few things, there showing some of the best shows after midnight and then they kill them off after a season becauise of lack of ratings, it makes no sense..
