Okay, I thought they had a break after taping both parts of 615, and taped 616 last week.

Oh, we're counting it differently. I'm counting Part One of the hourlong episode as 615, and Part Two as 616. After that they had a break, then taped 617 last week.

I don't know... I thought a main selling point of 615 was that it was an hour long, but now I can see why you'd say it was two parts, even though I think to have two two-part episodes back to back with each other is kinda... strange. :)

Well, look at TO After the Super Bowl. Its main selling point was that it was a special hourlong episode of Friends immediately following the Super Bowl, and its episode numbers are officially 212 and 213. Not just 212. We could go with your way of counting; it's just that if we did, there would only be 23 episodes this season. :)
