Anybody still around? Well, anyway...
Since I usually work the late shift, I didn't see the final episode until they recently reran in sindication. (You think NBC would want to get their money's worth, especially with something like Friends.)
Those episodes, and others where there's talk about how Monica is going to be a great mother, and Chandler will get by, make me wonder if Monica is really going to be that great of a parent. And is Chandler really going to be that bad?
Monica can't handle a messy house. But children, are, by nature, messy. The kids won't be able to have any toys out.
Chandler, on the other hand, is still not that mature. He's going to be playing with them. He'll help them make the mess. The kids are going to love him. Although, hopefully, with a son and daughter, he'll give both kids equal attention. I've seen it happen. Some fathers just aren't able to relate to daughters as well as sons.
As far everyone bashing Chandler, Ross was understandable. Chandler left his baby son on the bus! Okay, Joey and Chandler, but you don't expect much of Joey. That would be hard to get past. (That's the one where R&R named M&C their daughter's godparents.
