Just a general wondering of mine. I think a good start would be clearing up a lot of glaring mistakes from this season.
What they should do, if not this year but at least next is:
a) give Lisa Kudrow more to do - she's hysterically funny and they don't take advantage of that enough - but they also need to make her less of a b*tch; she mocks or ridicules one of her friends at least once an episode now and I miss the old Phoebe who was a little ditzy but ultimately sweet
b) more plots with ALL of them, or larger groups of them together, and vary it more - it's been consistently J/R/R and C/M/P and that sooo needs to change
c) let Chandler and Joey hang out more - I MISS THEM!
d) shake up C and M's relationship, they need more conflict and they need to make it humorous; if Matthew Perry gets into his stride again (which he seems to be) they need to take advantage of that too and give Chandler his old personality back (for the love of god!)
e) NOT get R and R back together till the end - you know they will; Ross and Rachel are the darlings of the writers and creators so it's pretty much a given, but they can write some funny storylines for them next year as new parents who AREN'T in a relationship, IMHO
f) keep letting Matt Le Blanc do what he's doing
Oh, and since season nine is the last, they should give each of the actors a turn at directing. I'd be interested to see how they do. :)
