ep. 1.1 question (TOW I say hello)

I've been reading this group for some time, and I like it. :)

I've just started watching "Friends" from the very beginning with my roommates (I've seen 1-9 seasons yet, but there's a lot more fun when you watch it with your friends). Unfortunately the Polish (I'm from Poland) subtitles I have are quite bad, so I thought it would be fun to make my own (take my time and *get the job done*). I also thought that translation question would be nice for for my first post here. :)

So, for the first shot, could anybody tell me if "noodles with string" (for Phoebe's song in ep. 1.01) is anything understandable?

It's from a nursery rhyme song usually played around Christmas time. It is "make beleive." so it is of no real importance. Except the fact that it is a line from the song. "whiteleaf" wrote in message news:[email]...

No, no, no, it's not a nursery rhyme song, it's "My Favorite Things" from "The Sound of Music." This is the first stanza:

"Noodles with string" is just how Phoebe mangled it up.
