Help to see avi file picture in windows media player

The confusedalt.tv.friends

I download Friends 801, the .avi file about 119 Mbs. When play with WMP I can only hear sound but can't see picture.

I use Win Media Player to see mpg file OK.

Would any body please tell what do I need?

I had to download and install DivX Codec in order to view avi files when I first started downloading eps... I had the same problem. www.divx.com

You need the latest 'divx codecs'. goto divx.com and download and install them. Then you'll see the video.
