Does season eight start on the 20 or 27? I've heard both.

Probably in first or second friday in August as it has been previous years.

i can't remember already with all the rumors...According to the latest publicly known contract agreements, which season is the last? I can't remember. Is it the 8th or 9th?

Current contracts expire at the end of the 8th season. If they are not renewed, then the 8th season will be the last. If they are renewed, then the last season will be a later one. *Nobody* knows what will happen.

Jeff Zucker says he wants the show to continue beyond Season 8.

David Crane says the new storylines are so exciting that they energize the show, which now has a lot more years in it, 9th season & beyond.

After the 6th season, CCA said she would only do another 10 years.
