Several folks (including lurkers) have made checking into this NG a regular almost daily habit & in many cases feel some what connected to the other posters in here because of their love for the show. I know I have posted from time to time & certainly read everyone's comments over the years & I just wanted to point out that just because there are no more NEW episodes that doesn't mean that there are no longer going to be new posts & those of you who have connected with each other through the show don't have to now say goodbye & part ways...
This is your newsgroup & as long as you guys are active in it then it will always be your newsgroup. There will still be folks who from time to time will be watching friends for the 1st time (believe it or not) and as we continue to watch the show in reruns & follow the future careers of the stars I am sure you guys will have stuff to converse about & share so I for one don't plan on going anywhere & will continue to lurk & post from time to time.
Alt.tv.friends is part of my daily **What's new in my e-mail** routine Just as alt.tv.mad-about-you still is & after the years even though its been off the air for quite some time there are still a few of us from the beginning days who stay in touch. Occasionally the conversation is on topic. So I just wanted to add my 2 cents in to remind you all that just because the show is over doesn't mean the NG has to end. Keep posting because as long as there are fans out there who love to talk about the show (among other things) this NG will still thrive....
