If all friends get a million each that would be 6 million.That could be the problem for NBC. NBC gave Hunt and Reiser a million each for the last season of Mad About You even though they didn't deserve it. In that situation they had NBC over a barrel. They had lost Seinfeld and pro football and they didn't want to lose MAY too.But Hunt and Reiser are only two people. But Friends should have NBC over a barrell since they are one of the reasons NBC hasn't collapsed on Thursday. NBC didn't give the three supporting actors on Seinfeld a million each a few years ago even though Seinfeld was even more impor- tant to them than Friends.So, they probably wouldn't want to give the friends a million each. They didn't give the supporting characters on "Seinfeld" $1 million each, but Jerry Seinfeld single-handedly earned $5 million an episode.
