50 states on Thanksgiving ep

I tried to see how many states I could name in 6 minutes like the friends were doing. I got 46. I missed Louisiana, Ohio, Maryland, and Wisconsin. I figured out on my own that I missed Louisiana and Ohio. But I would have gone crazy like Ross if I hadn't looked at a map to figure out that I missed Wisconsin and Maryland. I saw Al Franken draw a map of the US in only two minutes on Letterman a few years ago. I can't remember if he named off all the states as he was going along. Did anyone else try to name all the states in six minutes?

Yeah, I tried also. I got all fifty states in 4 minutes 31.66 seconds. What helped alot was knowing "The States Song", its a song I learned in 5th grade that names all fifty states in alphabetical order. Unfortunatly, I forgot how it went after Ohio, so I was on my own, but I got it all "With time to spare".

I did it in 2 minutes 51 seconds. The longest part is writing them down. Oh, and I knew the song too, so they're in alphabetical order.

Oh My GOD! You learned that song too? I learned it for a school play way back when. What was even scarier is that I paused the tape, and tried it again, and I remembered it after 14 years. Nice to meet someone else who had to learn it...

My mom got 49 in 6 minutes. (Maryland) My brother got 49 in 6 minutes. (Nebraska) I got 50 in 3 minutes, 51 seconds!

That's one of the few I actually remember. :-) (One of my French Profs at UCLA was from Freiberg.)

My grandfather's family is in Hamburg. I'd like to go sometime, but I'm not one just to "see" family. Can you suggest any sights?

Besides, we don't have ALL the names. He'd been in love with her since he was in the 9th grade. We don't get any names until he went to college (Carol). From 9th grade to Carol, that's no less than four years. He's been known to marry in as many years. :-)

I've checked my atlas, and it says Victoria is a state, and... Canberra is in some state called A.C.T, so I'm assuming it is a state on its own, but I think Tasmania is in Victoria, cause the island is in bold writing, and all the other state names are in grayish writing
