different versions

I just stumbled over something. I saw like every episode of friends that aired in Germany, survived hundreds of ad breaks and finally collected the ...umm, Internet version up to tow everybody finds out (514). Now, correct me if I�m wrong, but there is a difference between the US (?) and the synchronized version. Remember the scene where Phoebe is right before knocking at Chandler�s door, Rachel opens up her dress just a liiiiittle. In the _German_ version, Joey�s in the scene as well, and he jumps in between and flips the upper button up, leaving Phoebe surprised "hey, you didn�t even tear off a button" and Joey�s like "that�t me". Also, in the (Kazaa) version there�s an additional scene with Ross, where you can see him with ugly naked guy in his apartment, offering him a muffin. That on the other side is not in the version that has been aired in Germany. I�m quite sure about this. Now, how many versions are there? (and do I really have to get the U.S. DVD collection if I want it all? I will, if I need to ;-)) ) bye

i'm pretty sure it is the same version, becaus on pro7 the scene with ross and ugly naked guy, they translated with 'das ist unser freund, der nackte ross!' or something like that. and in the english version, the scene with joey and phoebe goes like that: Phoebe surprised "hey, you didn�t even tear off a button" and Joey�s like - it's not my first time! you were thinking of the geman translation, with the 'that's me' stuff...

... Yes, but he's right, in the german version we didn't see Ross and ugly naked guy sitting there. The others were just looking out of Monica's window. In the english version I know, we could see Ross and the naked guy (or rather these two naked guys) in armchairs. Miriel

I've also noticed different versions in the 214 episode - the prom video. When Ross acts like the blind date guy and the guy talking to Rachel leaves, he talks to Rachel about how he's her lobster. When Rachel says "accept that", Ross says "oh" and looks down in one version, and says "oh", turns around and says "i gotta go" to phoebe, and leaves the coffee house.
