I was searching on Ebay and noticed some Friends VCDs on sale.
Does anyone have these? How good is the quality on them? Do they work on DVD ROM drives? Are they on sale anywhere in the US (the owner said that "This VCD is NEW, MINT & an original copyrighted copy, still in its seal.")?
Where would I be able to find them? How much would they cost?

Answers to your questions in same order:
(1) I don't have them. Saw them on sale though.
(2) Not sure, but should expect mpeg-1 quality (350x280-ish, 25 fps, 170kb/s) (c.f DVD is Mpeg-2, twice the theoretical resolution both directions). Generally comparable to VHS tape in quality. Depending on how it is done, may *look* better; and last long than tapes anyway.
(3) Yes, most DVD drives read VCDs.
(4) probably not. C.f. answer (5) below.
(5) There are manefactured and distributed for the far-east market. e.g. I saw them in HMV HK. Can remember the price, but based on other VCD/DVD releases, should expect about 1/2 to 2/3 the price per episode compared to DVD, I think.
