Chandler's Glasses?

I saw in the NBC preview for tomorrow's new episode that in some scenes, Chandler was wearing glasses. Does anyone have any idea why he was wearing them

Ummm...well, MP wears glasses, and Chandler might have them, in TOW Could Have Been, he had glasses. Its possible they just decided "Hey! Why not wear your glasses! Chandler could have glasses!" Just because it was never mentioned....Rachel supposedly has glasses also, but I dont think shes ever worn them. Yeah...ok, I don't know. It doesn't matter much, though, does it?

I can't remember the episode(s) but I just have this picture in my mind of a Friends episode with Rachel wearing glasses. And also, there was an episode of Friends in which Ross and Rachel come back from their date (went to the movies) and Rachel says something like "Ross, honey, why didn't you tell me there were gonna be subtitles. I would've brought my glasses."

Well, yeah...thats where I got that she wears glasses. And now that you mention...I think I might vaguely recall Rachel wearing them. Not sure. Anyone know that ep. if she did? Now I'm wondering.

Frustrating isn't it :) I have this feeling we saw her wearing glasses at her office, when she was working for Joanna. Just a feeling.

I know Jennifer Aniston wears glasses. She has worn them on several occasions including a behind-the-scenes special. Perhaps that's where you saw her with them. As far as I can remember, Jennifer Aniston has not worn them on the show itself.

I sure seem to remember seeing her wearing them at least once too, but I could be wrong. I know there's a commercial they play on the local channel for Friends and a viewer says she likes how they're all friends in real life, and they show Courteney and Jennifer together and Jennifer is wearing glasses.

When has it been said that Chandler wears glasses? (except of course season7) Why does he need glasses is another thing. If they are reading glasses, then he wouldn't wear them all the time. He maybe nearsighted, but you can still see without your glasses if your nearsighted.

being a near sighted person my self. and not that bad in need of glasses. I disagree with you. It's very difficult for me to see without my glasses, and really I should be wearing them all the time. If near sighted people don't wear their glasses their eyesight gets worse. At least that's what I've heard. I reckon he wears contacts most of the time

I'm afraid you're wrong. You cannot still see without your glasses if your nearsighted. I am nearsighted which means that I can see close up but not far away.

I don't think I've ever seen Rachel wear glasses, but I have seen JA wear them in Picture Perfect. Are you sure it wasn't that you're thinking of. if it's not then I have no idea!
