I haven't seen the new season (S7), but I'm pretty certain that Ross hasn't become anymore funny. I hear that he's just screaming - even more! And in almost every survey presented on the net, Ross comes out as the least liked Friend. Chandler usually ends on top, but that's no shock (we do love him after all). I never liked Ross, and not many others do, but can Ross really be anything other than the boring paleontologist (or something) who isn't funny unless he screams....

I must just say I agree with that. He is the less funny of them all. But maybe because of that it's easier to make funny situations for the other ones when Ross is around...
i'm sorry, i have to admit, sometimes i do giggle at something ross does-Occasionally, though. But overall, i'd have to say that Chandler is probably now, the least funny. Ross is right there with him, but i can't remember laughing at chandler since last season.
Old Ross comes back in season 7. Please don't judge the new season until you've seen it.

Don't know where you're hearing that..Ross hasn't screamed or yelled at anyone...maybe except for once, and it was funny (The Library ep, don't want to spoil it for those who haven't seen it). Ross is ok, and actually him and Joey have had some VERY funny scenes, at least most fans seem to think so.
As for Ross being least liked..well that's just cause people are judging him on his past, and he's the most normal of the guys. It's not that he's hated, he's just not a favorite. Don't feel bad..Monica's my fave (most of the time) and she's usually at the end of those polls too.

Hi! I am new to this newsgroup. Question for you Marita, you mentiond TV2. Does that mean you are in New Zealand? Cause that's the channel they screening Friends down here. Currently they are reruning the entire show (from series 1 - 6) but I missed the first two. Tonight (Monday 22nd January) they are going to screen 612 (Ep133) TOW The Joke.

Ross has, by far, become my favorite character. He's actually has some depth. Chandler's lost it, and Joey's stupidity (or should i say naivet�), althought still good for a chuckle, has become predictable.
