TOW and issues

ok new here i keep reading TOW, what does that stand for? and what are these issues people keep talking about receiving and reading?

since your up, and your from nyc like me, did you see the commercials lately with the announcer going "thursday, something special will happen on NBC, one is pregnant, etc etc etc" ... you know the song they play in the background? with the soft tones?

do you know what song that is? its in my head and im trynig to figure it out.

Don't mind him, he's new here too. And doesn't appear to understand much about this group or how to be polite to people either. (You might not want to call us a Mofo'in group either, if you want to get along happily.)

It's not definitively "The One With", so the [address] on him. TO is "The One" but the W can be Where, When, With, Without... it changes. There have been too many episodes for there to be a definitive answer to that one.

It was a joke by the makers, because when someone talks to other people about a programme they've seen they always says "did you see the one when......."

TOW stands for either "The One With" or "The One Where", depending on the context. More rarely, there's also been TOA for "The One After" or "The One At", TOI for "The One In", TOO for "The One On", and TOT for "The One That" or "The One The".

I'm not quite sure what you're referring to here, Christineee, possibly the latest issue of American magazine "Entertainment Weekly"; which has a big feature on "Friends", which we Europeans are hoping to receive.

The TOT was a play with words...it was meant to be read "the one that was left out...The One Hundredth", anyways, probably wasn't that funny.

Are you sure about the title "The One Hundredth"?

I use the Warner Brother's Episode guide as a reference http://www2.warnerbros.com/web/friendstv/episode.jsp?season=5 And this is where I find the title. Also, It may help in clarifying the counting issue. I assume the WB knows how they counted and titled them.
