Season 9 DVD's Ep. lenght

I've just bought S9 DVD's 1&2 and I was wondering if the lenght is the same of those episodes shown in the States. Can you help me? Jes�s

Technically speaking they aren't, due to the NTSC --> PAL conversion, but nothing was cut from the R2 DVDs ;)

uhm... I think you got your numbers mixed up. Film is 24 frames per second, PAL and SECAM are 25. :)

Yes it matters. Don't ask me how or why (or even when ;) ) but I remember an uncut S8 episode being shorter on the R2 discs than the originally broadcast episode. I'm guessing it's due to the equipment they film with (which I'd imagine to be NTSC compliant), but I've no idea if that's why it is that way.

There's gotta be someone 'geeky' enough around here to know the deal about this?!
