how many episodes this season?

hi until now only 15 episodes have aired, haven't they? are not 22 epsiodes supposed to air ? normally, the season finale is in May...so I am a little confused... TIA vivi

There have been a huge number of reruns. Normally there are around 24 episodes a season, but the whole reason NBC was able to get Friends back for Season 10 was because they were going to do a shorter season of 18 only. Last Thursday was actually number 16 so you're missing one. May 6th will be 17 and 18 (1 hour finale). The reruns pushed it to May which is the normal time for a finale.
