Well, I'm sure a lot of people, whatever you are rooting for in terms of couples, was disappointed to see Rachel moving out of Joey's apartment. They gave the show life support when it was about ready to die, and now that the show is back on top, it's time to say goodbye....at least for now.
It was necessary to have Rachel move out to extend this storyline for any reasonable amount of time, and it was necessary for Ross to have more access to his child, and he has had little access to Rachel in general since she moved in with Joey. So I think it was a sensible and smart move on the writers' part. They clearly have their head in the game this season.
Monica and Phoebe were really funny this episode. They have had great interaction this season when they are paired off. Chandler was ok, but still is not even close to the comic timing he had in the 4th, 5th, 6th seasons.
Did everyone else come away with the impression that Joey is the underdog we need to root for in all this?
A good episode for sweeps, it will be interesting to see what next week holds for us.
