Just how much money is Monica Bing supposed to be making???

So I was watching "Episode 814: The One With The Secret Closet" the other day and there's a storyline in it with Monica not wanting massages from Phoebe, then actually wanting them but then Phoebe doesn't want to give them to Monica anymore because of sex noises or something ... You know what I am talking about right??

Okay, so anyway, when Phoebe is trying to dissuade Monica from getting massaged by her anymore, she tells her that she's raised her rates to $200 an hour. Now Monica wanted to make it a weekly thing, and immediately agreed to the $200 dollar price tag. So at $200 an hour for an hour per week, basically Monica was agreeing to spend $10,400 a year on massages???

Does that seem extravagant to anyone else, or am I just not making enough money these days?

And I know it's just a show and such, but let's 'pretend' this was a real situation, would any of you spend $200 a week on massages???

i totally agree. it seems like no matter how much i make, there is always need for more. And now that you point out that 200 a week is 10+k i better re look at my budget cause i can blow 200 a week on garbage - easy.
