Do you think the season finale will get any of the cast emmys or the episode?

I think personally that Courteney Cox.A will get one. She was fantastic. She was really good. So was Matthew Perry I think they will get a nomination but Matt LeBlanc was excellent. So what do you think?

I hate to say this, but I thought Courteney was the weak link. There were a couple of times when her delivery of crucial lines seemed forced and I was very aware of watching an actress rather than peeking in through the fourth wall. It really damaged the most crucial scene for me, because in the middle of some very deep stuff I was saying "Gee, Courteney seems phony." Matthew did a reasonably good job, but this was no TOW the Morning After.

I have said it before and I'll say it again; Ross and Rachel have better actors than Monica and Chandler do.

I don't know, it doesn't neccesarily mean that her scenes have to be comedic, I thought they just submitted what they thought were the best scenes..Anyway, that wouldn't explain Ally Mcbeal being classified as a comedy, when it seems much more like a drama.

Although, I don't know to what degree the Emmy people go for nominating people in comedies when they get serious or emotional... unless the nominee's intitals are Helen Hunt or Callista Flockhart. It seems that it has to be the lead actors who can get nominated for being serious and emotional in comedies, not the supporting actors... and since Friends is an ensemble (sp) cast, everyone is a supporting actor or actress.
