I am an avid FRIENDS watcher and a big Ross and Rachel fan, but the last time they were together as a couple was in season 3 or something like that. I know that they are cute , but reasons for breaking up were all ross' fault. You don't just sleep with the first girl you meet after you and your girlfriends have a fight. If Ross thought that Rachel would sleep with somebody then what was thier relationship based on? Not trust. If Joey like Rachel I say go for it. They make a much cuter coulple then ross and racehl did. Joey I think is the prime catch of the group. He is sweet and he cares about people's feelings. Ross cares about work and making something of himself but not a husband. He wants to get married yet he has been divorced three time. I think the Vegas wedding symbolized that Ross and Racehl won't be together again and that Joey is free to date Rachel. I think that Joay and RAchel are great becasue JOey has been the most supportuve of the baby with Ross in a far behind second. Chandler is really playing no role in this baby thing. Joey convinced Rachel to stay showing that he is growing more mature because he is ready to accept the resbonsiblity of a child in his apartnent. The last scene was awesome. They are a very cute couple. I think that FRIENDS should come back and with this burst of energy I think it will.

This caring Joey is very new because he sure hasn't shown much feelings about the women he has dated before. He's had strict rules for everybody else regarding friendship so I don't think he should overstep his bounds with Rachel unless he talks to Ross first.
I think you must have been watching a different show. For heaven's sake, Ross was the one who wanted to be with Rachel but she was always working.
All his divorces were against his will. Plus how was the first one his fault?
How has Ross not been supportive? There have been no storylines with R&R lately because of the way the writers have handled things but do we really know what happens every day in these people's "lives"?

It's easy to be supportive of a pregnant, attractive roommate before the baby (and the real expenses) comes, isn't it?
I know there are a growing number of people who don't care if David is written out of the show and this kind of development seems to insure that it will happen. If he leaves the show, the chance of the show continuing may be possible but less likely. Just thought I'd put that out.
