I think it's in this episode. Joey and Ben go for the audition and it's
either going to be Ben & some other guy or Joey & some kid who get the part.
    Joey doesn't get the part and then Ben doesn't get the part either! What
the hell is that about?
    It's one thing having a continuity error over a few seasons but when the
error takes place from the middle of one episode to the end of the same
episode, that's pretty desperate.
    Anyone have any opinions?

Logic sacrificed for a joke. We are supposed to believe that it is completely unimportant that any premise, once begun, is carried through.

This isn't a continuity error at all.

What you are *claiming* is a plot hole.

And it's not even that. What happened was the final round of auditions were Joey & Raymond versus Kyle & Ben, but Joey fluffed his lines. That doesn't automatically give it to the other pair.

If Ben fluffed his lines or did something else wrong, then maybe they put Kyle with Raymond after all. Or if Kyle was as bad as Joey, then both boys were unlucky, and the casting director had to start over.

I think leaving spoiler space for season five episodes is taking this courtesy too far. Season six is understandable because England is very heavily represented here. As you demand spoiler space for people who are further and further behind this situation becomes insane. What began as a reasonable courtesy, affecting only a small amount of Friends material, for a large subgroup of people becomes a very cumbersome burden which greatly impairs conversation on a larger number of topics for the benefit for a smaller and smaller subgroup.

No, Tennant, I am not leaving spoiler space for season five. Anybody who hates spoilers that much and is that far behind probably should start their own newsgroup.
